Upwey House prides itself on 23 acres of gorgeous rural Dorset country-side. Intrepid little explorers can spend hours building dams by the stream, organising duck races or playing cricket, rounders, football, badminton or croquet on the lawns. There’s no reason why adults can’t join in too.

The terrace itself, with sublime views to the south, is perfect for lunches in the sun on hot days. Fire up the BBQ  in the outdoor kitchen and grab a drink of something cold as you watch the sun go down.

There are wonderful walks within the grounds of the house itself, encompassing a shallow stretch of the River Wey at its source, as well as fields, woodland and a walled garden. The secluded house and its grounds are a haven of exploration and wonder for children and adults alike.
