A 20 acre farm with many different varieties of animals ranging from rabbits to meerkats to donkeys and Rheas. Many of the animals are very tame so food is available to feed the animals. The farm also includes play areas, bouncy castle, willow maize, wildflowers (seasonal) and an onsite licensed café serving homecooked foods and cakes.
Abbotsbury Swannery is the only place in the world where you are able to walk through the heart of a colony of nesting Mute Swans. A visit to this beautiful place is considered a must do when in Dorset.

Visit the birthplace of renowned author Thomas Hardy. This cottage, where Hardy was born in 1840, was built of cob and thatch by his great-grandfather and is a part of the National Trust. Parking available and a lovely woodland walk close by with a café.
